There is no God like our God. The people of this and any other land are just that people. They are brothers and sisters. Until we listen to the voice of God that calls us to love God and our neighbor the verbal and physical violence will continue. We will slow it down with education and give it pause with legislation, but without the holy love of God it will remain. We live in troubled times, as did those who walked before us, but we shall not give in to despair. We will rise today with a single united purpose; love.
Oh Lord, let your love rain down on us! Melt our selfish, broken, and hateful hearts. Be in our actions and our words. May your righteous justice reign!
