I have seen the social media challenges that come around every so often to spend a month giving thanks for something or a group of three things a day. There is a lot to be said about how taking time to give “thanks” changes our daily outlook. In a month that we have a holiday to give “thanks” I began to wonder why we restrict ourselves to certain times of year to be thankful. I know that the most well grounded, humble, and inspiring people in my life have been people who regularly express an attitude of gratitude. Being thankful takes time and effort, but is worth it. Today, I am thankful for my wife (amazing does not even begin to describe her), my children, and the journey we are on together serving the body of Christ.
What are you thankful for today?
